Cast stone moldings are used as exterior trim for windows,
doors, jambs and sills. These beautiful pieces have the look of
traditional carved stone, but are formed from modern lightweight
building materials. They are reinforced with galvanized metal
lath and anchors may be inserted during casting for ease of
installation. If color is desired, it is added at the time of
casting and is integral to the piece. The maximum length of
each piece is six feet. In addition to the aesthetic qualities
of our cast stone, it also provides superb strength and weathers
very well. It is a material for the architect/designer
interested in creating distinctive and enduring architecture.

A & M's colored cast stone molding was used on this
commercial building at 23 Corporate Plaza, Newport Beach,
California in 1989 and bears witness today to the enduring
qualities of our cast stone.
Where weight is a structural issue, A & M offers a cast stone
molding that is manufactured over an expanded polystyrene foam
shape. We begin with the foam shape and apply a layer of our
exclusive Eurocast to the foam shape by an extrusion method. Our Eurocast is cementitious in nature and
comes in a standard grey color. Eurocast molding may be painted
or stained. While this product is lighter in weight and less
expensive than our regular cast stone, the aesthetics provided
by the two products are very similar, Four standard shapes are
available and custom shapes are possible for orders of 200
feet or more.
